My name is Leandra (born Munro) my 3rd great granddaughter of Charles Alexander Munro (born between 12 July 1790-1795) Nairn, Nairnshire, in the Highlands, he was the son of Roderick John Munro (born 1758 or 1760)and Margaret (born Ross in 1761). Charles parents info i got from a site where I couldnt do more research as you had to pay to continue. My biggest dream is to find if Charles. A Munro (my 3rd GGrandpa) parents info is correct and obviously his ancestral line further up and/ if or were they part and how they were part of Clan Munro. Charles Alexander Munro came as a Soldier of the Sutherland 93rd Regiment Scottish Highlanders, to South Africa in 1813 - 1820 somewhere (not sure if this is the correct order, because some sites show different order of info). Charles A. Munro had siblings according to info it's Christian, Polnech and Margaret (same as their mom name). Would also like to know about my 3rd great grandmother Margaret Ross line.
