This picture postcard is of the wedding of George Hamilton and Isobel Sinclair. The bridesmaids are Margaret and Lily Sinclair.
Mr and Mrs Hamilton had a clothes shop in King Street for many years, where Brambles coffee shop is now.

George and ' Belle ' had two daughters, Jenny and Margaret, more or less comtemporary with me. Margaret died several years ago, and Jenny's daughter Fiona ( she also had a son Jonathan ) emailed me two months ago to say that Jenny too has now ' passed away peacefully ' in Bristol where Fiona and her family now live.
