We’re looking for someone willing to bring passion for heritage and reliability as a trustee at Tain & District Museum and Clan Ross Centre
Tain & District Museum is looking for new Trustees to help guide the museum into its next chapter.
You don't need to be a historian or museum expert. We're looking for people who care about our community and can bring their own skills, ideas and experience to the museum.
No matter what your professional background is – and you don’t need to have been a Trustee before —we simply want people who get things done. If this is you, we’d love to hear from you, and your contribution will be valuable.
The commitment is modest—around six Board meetings a year, with occasional involvement in projects or events—and you'll receive a full induction and support from the Museum Manager and fellow Trustees.
We particularly welcome interest from people of different ages and backgrounds who can bring new skills, ideas and perspectives to the Board.
This is an exciting time to join us as we develop new exhibitions, strengthen our Board and work with Museums & Heritage Highland through the Pathways to the Future programme to build a sustainable future for the museum.
