Ross Stories

Here are some pictures of clan members who made the journey to Tain and the Clan Ross Centre. It was lovely to meet with them and exchange stories. We'll be sharing those stories with you as folk get back to their homes and send us more information.

In September Beverly and Walter Ross called into to Tain on their way North. They were tracing their Ross roots. Walter thinks one of his descendents was John Ross b. 1726 who emmigrated from (K)abel (?) Parish of Farr, Sutherland. He left for Wilmington N.C. on the Batchelor of Leith in 1774.
