Ross Stories
Here are some pictures of clan members who made the journey to Tain and the Clan Ross Centre. It was lovely to meet with them and exchange stories. We'll be sharing those stories with you as folk get back to their homes and send us more information.

J. William Ross from Florida visited in August along with his friend Sally Nevis 
In September Beverly and Walter Ross called into to Tain on their way North. They were tracing their Ross roots. Walter thinks one of his descendents was John Ross b. 1726 who emmigrated from (K)abel (?) Parish of Farr, Sutherland. He left for Wilmington N.C. on the Batchelor of Leith in 1774.

Fiona Ross from Stirling has been researching her family roots, tracing a Ross ancestor to Quarry Lane, Tain. Fiona is a fantastic artist and below are examples of her work.
