With the Gathering underway everyone splits into groups for the workshops. Kerrie Finlay presents the workshop on Gaelic song. She is seen here with one of the group leaders, Jet Christie.

In the evening Dr David Worthington presents a talk on the

Rosses in Europe to a capacity audience. But first a performance

of the Lucia by Emma Ekstrand and the children from the

Finnish group.

The evening is brought to a close with a procession to the Rose Garden where Tain Pipe Band entertain locals and visitors alike.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Thursday 13th August
