Comments:
Bertie was my uncle and would always see him and my Auntie Heather on visits to Tain. Last talked to him at my Aunties Funeral in Tain some 15+ years ago. A character for sure and I understand very upset at having to leave the then GPO and went to work for Glenmorangie Distillery.

Richard, dad actually went on to work at Balblair distillery for a time after leaving the post office. Dad was very proud to recieve a medal from Buckingham palace for his long service with the GPO.
