Ronnie Duncan, Electrician

Although not a native of Tain, Ronnie Duncan was a well known Tain personality and lived most of his life in Tain. He is seen here plying his trade as an electrician, repairing one of the early TV sets in Donnie Shivas's workshop which was on King Street. He was a keen golfer and was for a time Secretary of Tain Golf Club. a member of Lodge St Duthus and amateur poet.
This image was scanned from one of George Hamilton's slides - another local personality and businessman. It was probably taken in the late 1950s/early 1960's.
Picture added on 30 April 2010.
