Black Watch Army Camp c 1915
This World War I Army Camp housing Black Watch soldiers was located near Nigg. The huts appear to be constructed of corrugated iron but efforts have been made to brighten up the surroundings. Note the neatly laid out and well maintained flower beds.

My Gt. Grandfather was stationed at Nigg camp during 14-18 War, he married, and my Grandmother was born at Culnaha in 1917.
As for more Info on the camp I`m reading the book Forgotten Scottish Voices from the Great War(Derek Young), in there I have found entries about the training etc. at Nigg camp.
