Crashed Truck

This truck has obviously met with a serious accident. It belonged to A Ross & Sons, Contractors, Fearn. The crash took place in the early 1960's. Does anyone know the story behind the crash? Was anyone hurt?

I am almost certain that this is the lorry which crashed beside the bridge at Pitmaduthy Farm, Kildary 1960 or 1961. I was walking along the road toward the farm when the lorry suddenly disappeared through the fence and down the embankment, I ran towards it fearing the worst when the driver (one of the Ross sons I think) emerged from the wreckage with virtually no injuries. Amazing when you see the state of the lorry.
