This photo of Tain character, Kirsty Macdonald was taken by David macleod in 1910. It is said she earned 2d a drill for hoeing turnips. The story is told that after being certified dead by Dr Kennedy that when the "corpse" was being washed "she came to" saying "that's sair".

She must have lived for a reasonable length of time after being certified dead as Dr Kennedy died on the 8/12/09. He was my great grandfather.
