Stag Croft, Moss Road

We think this early picture of Stag Croft, at the top of Moss Road, was taken c1900. It was clearly "out in the country", situated on what was then known as the "Hill Road". It is now just below the by-pass with the area between it and Tain filled in with housing. Much altered, it can be recognised by the well in the garden.

Comments:
Did the Gallie family live there at that time. We have relations in Argentina who we believe lived at Stagcroft circa 1900

We are the new owners of Stag Croft we moved here in October 2016. We are seeking to put together the history of the house. Who was the last Gallie to live at Stag Croft?
