This formidable group of Tain Lady golfers taken outside the clubhouse possibly around 1960 is made up as follows:-
Back L to R - Rachel Ross (mother of Ian "Murd"), J Anderson (Ian Anderson's mother), Rosemary Mackenzie (founder of Tain Museum)
Middle L to R - Kate Macleod (Art Teacher TRA), Jenny Fraser ( wife of Alastair Fraser, bank manager), Nettie Young (English Teacher TRA), Edme Mowat, Nina Cunningham
Front L to R - Nancy Macdonald (Teacher, Hilton PS), Lena Cumming, Jane Grant (Clarke), Marion Watson (Teacher).

Comments:
My mam (Jane Grant) thinks the picture was taken when her parents still ran the clubhouse which means it must have been in the mid fifties. The lady in the middle row on the far right is May Munro.
