Compared to picture #249 the style of the windows and the clothing would suggest this photo shows the shop at a later date. There are also marks/holes in the stonework which could be where the fixtures shown in picture 249 were attached. The grills have also gone and the pavement appears to have been laid with Caithness flagstones. Note the much larger sign and the wicker hampers - probably awaiting collection and possibly containing clothes going off to Pullars for drying or cleaning. Although the sign is gone the shop is known to still have been a Pullars agent while trading under the name George Henderson.
the sign on the window is advertising "Ready Made Clothing" and some kind of shoes.
Included in the photo are George Henderson and a Miss Maclean.
