Troops leaving from Tain Station

This post card showing troops being given a send off by relatives, friends and other well-wishers as they left by train for the front was taken during the First World War (1914-18). It was not posted to anyone but someone has written on the back "We were all down here seeing the boys leave for the front."

Comments:
Was this picture taken at Tain Station or elsewhere as there seems to be an awful lot of Black Watch badges on parade
